Minyanim for tefillah gathered Monday night to pray for the complete recovery of the Rishon L’Tzion, HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu shlit’a. They assembled in his Beit Midrash in Kiryat Moshe in Jerusalem, and in the Kollel Darchei Hora’ah L’Rabbanim; continuous minyanim were held to pray for his recovery.
A minyan was also held at the remnant of our Beis HaMikdash, the Kotel Hamaaravi. Many of his disciples and followers came to call out in cries for his complete recovery.
HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu shlit’a collapsed a few months ago and since then his condition improved, but in the last few days his situation worsened and he lost consciousness. As mentioned, many are reciting Tehillim and praying for his complete recovery.
