  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

Under-Floor Heating at the Safari Park in Ramat Gan

The installation of under-floor heating in the sloth’s cage has been completed in the Safari Park in Ramat Gan. The monkeys and turtles also enjoy the same conditions.

Lazy and comfortable: A pair of adorable sloths living in the Ramat Gan Safari Park has recently upgraded their living conditions.

With the cold of winter, which can sometimes freeze the bones, the Safari Park was worried about the sloths under their care, and installed under-floor heating elements that will warm them throughout the cold winter days.

Ideal Heat company, which develops and manufactures electric under-floor heating, is used to installing heating elements under concrete surfaces, parquet, carpets, asphalt and even under the grass on a football field. Now, company representatives have completed a special project, when they installed the heating in a sloth’s cage.

Last year heating surfaces were installed in the night houses of the monkeys. Turtles also enjoy a heated floor in winter. The surfaces are completely sealed and waterproof even in the most extreme weather conditions.

The resulting heating is fast and consistent and allows animals to enjoy even the coldest winter days. We, on the other hand, have no choice but to curl up with a quilt by the radiator.
